What to wear for rafting in Omiš

Draft checklist — adjust for weather and operator instructions.

On the water

Swimsuits or quick-dry athletic clothing resist abrasion better than cotton T-shirts, which stay heavy when wet. Darker colours hide river marks; avoid jewellery that snags on straps.

Footwear that stays on

Strapped water shoes or sports sandals protect toes on rocky put-ins. Flip-flops float away — leave them for beach days in Split instead.

Sun and shade

UV reflects off water; apply broad-spectrum sunscreen before gear straps tighten. A brimmed hat may work on calmer stretches but secure it or switch to a helmet-only setup when guides instruct.

After the trip

Pack dry underwear, a towel, and a hooded layer for van rides back to Omiš. Plastic bags isolate wet items from rental car upholstery.
